FTW-SIM is beeing run by a German, governmental approved non-profit charity organisation.
As FTW-SIM is an community driven project, we are always looking for new
people to support our team in providing the best flight-sim economy
simulation!
Down below you will find a short list of positions, where we still need active support, but you can also just apply for everythink you can provide.
Support [EN]
We are currently searching new supporters for an growing english community.
Preferably from timezones -4 – +9 to archieve better support times around the clock.
As Support Representative you will contribute to the satisfaction of our players.
Attached to the support team, your missions will be :
Respond to customer requests by email or discord
Diagnose technical problems encountered by the player and guide them on the service/product
Proactively provide ideas, suggestions for improvement/creation of our wiki and Knowledge Base articles
Monitor issues impacting players
Work closely with all support and corporate teams and guide newer supporters in their dutys
Work with our databases
An non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is needed to be signed for this post
- You have a first experience in a similar position
- You can guide newer players members, and represent the non-profit mindset
- You have advanced knowledge about FTW-SIM and at least basic knowledge about all functions and features
- You know how to use ticket management tools
You are a good problem solver
You have a high technical appetite
- Take part in regular team-meetings
You have good written and oral expression in German or English
High-level Support

Java Developer
We are searching new lead-developers and developers for FTW-SIM
Take part in developing FTW-SIM and take part on the continued development of a next generation flight-sim economy simulation.

Diagnose technical problems encountered by the player and guide them on the service/product
Proactively provide ideas, suggestions for improvement/creation of our wiki and Knowledge Base articles
Monitor issues impacting players
Work closely with all support and corporate teams and guide newer supporters in their dutys

- You have advanced knowledge of Java, Java-EE and basic knowledge of Primefaces and the Netbeans IDE
- You have basic knowledge of Glassfish or Paraya
- You master the open source ecosystem (Linux, Ansible / Salt);
- You have good knowledge of storage protocol (iSCSI, NVMEoF);
- You master the issues of distributed services;
- You are a real team player, you will work closely with several teams to achieve common success;
- You have basic knowledge about FTW-SIM and at least basic knowledge about all functions and features
- Take part in regular team-meetings
